I'm unable to take anyone for lessons during October 2026. If you would like to book beyond October then click here for the booking form.

I'm looking for halls to hold lessons in. Ideally close to the upper braes area of Falkirk and a minimum size of one badminton court. Email skating@gregorwatson.co.uk to let me know about any halls with availability.

About Me

Hi, I'm Gregor. I'm a certified and insured rollerblading (inline skating) instructor who started skating in 1972. I have £5m public liability and £5m professional indemnity insurance. All indoor lessons are held in Polmont Sports Centre near Falkirk and cost £30 for one hour including hall hire for up to three people. For four to six people the cost is £50/hour to cover the cost to hire the additional space required.

Polmont Sports Centre is approximately 30 minutes by car from Stirling, Edinburgh and Livingston and 40 minutes from Glasgow. It's also a short walk from Polmont Train Station for anyone travelling by train. Click here for directions.

If you're a beginner my aim will be to have you skating safely and efficiently by the end of your first lesson. If you would prefer a lesson on quad skates then that's no problem, just let me know prior to your lesson. If you can stand and move forward at the start of your lesson then I guarantee to have you stopping and turning within the first 30 minutes.

I've taught thousands of people to skate over the years including 50 theatre group members to put on Andrew Lloyd Webber's Starlight Express in 2018.

Email skating@gregorwatson.co.uk if you've any questions and I'll respond within 24 hours. You can find out more on my lessons page or click here to book one now.
